My San Francisco Nikki ventured to my crazy neck of the woods. So I took her along with me for a weekend. She got in late Thursday night...so we went country dancing. She even attempted line dancing. I'm so proud of her. Nothing like country style in the good old state of Utah. Then we hit up late night goodness at Village Inn. Typical wind down.
Next day...Shopping at Gateway and lunch at the DoDo.
We went on the complete tour of the city...including the Great Salt Lake.
No trip to Utah would be complete without a stop at Cafe Rio.
And a conference center and temple square tour.
Then Cold Stone ice cream and Park City playing with Macie.
Some shoe shopping at the Factory Outlets.
Followed by a Stake BBQ activity in the canyon and of course the best activity in the world...bowling.
I tried to show off my skills (#4).
Sunday, I taught the lesson in Relief Society. I sang
For Good with Marin accompanied by Mindy on the piano and Katie on the violin. I think I successfully had 80% of the girls in tears. Then we ended up at my mom's for a lunch with my family. Nikki was so wonderful all weekend. I really just threw her into my world. I joked that after all this she was Mormon. She is an incredible person. I am so lucky our paths have crossed.
Thanks so much for coming to visit me Nikki!!
