December 24 - Untraditionally

I was fortunate to share Christmas Eve with Lizzie and her family.

December 22 - Our Christmas Eve

A couple of family members had to work, so we celebrated Christmas Eve early.

The nieces decided to put on a talent show.

December 20 - There is Beauty all Around

After cheering on the Utes to a win over Navy at the Poinsettia Bowl, I returned home to find friends blocking my driveway. It had been snowing all evening and they had decided to drive around and take pictures of the new snow. So I hopped in the car with them.

Oh the simple things.
The next morning was incredible. I can't remember the sky being so blue.

December 19 - Work Festivities

Our office small and we definitely dance to the beat of our own drum. For our Christmas party we ate and ate and ate at the Bombay House. We love to hit up this little Indian dive that is close to the office. So the Doc decided to just step it up a little. Then we moved over to the bowling alley (almost the entire staff are patients of ours). Among the couple of games we had a while elephant exchange in honor of "The Office". It was a great night topped with sweets and bonuses. I also walked with a Marvin Gay cd for my elephant...Sweet.

December 17 - FHE

For FHE we delivered Sub for Santa gifts and sang carols. It really had such a wonderful feeling to it. After which our car full went to a taco stand. This was first time, it was freezing out, but tasty. :)

December 7 - Fairwell FNA

For our last FNA of 2007 we had a Christmas party at Meredith's. We only had about eight in attendance, but Meredith and I managed to still have a good time.

Little did Meredith know that I would be called as the first councilor in the Relief Society two days later. FNA was the perfect calling for me as I entered the single life. Meredith is a social butterfly and helped me to jump right in. But I look forward to working in the RS and serving with these wonderful sisters.

December 7 - Christmas Parties

Brooke and I have been friends for about thirteen years. She has three little boys and one on the way. Brooke is the perfect hostess. I hope I am half the mother that she is some day.

December 1 - Lizzie's Birthday

I helped pull together a birthday shindig for Lizzie. We had 30 friends and family surprise her at Olive Garden. She had no clue. I love that. Afterwards we bundled up and walked around temple square to see the lights. It is incredible.

Thanksgiving Weekend

I cherish my time with Brittany. She squeezed me in to her chaotic weekend.

December 5 - Conquer

This probably sounds so silly, but the Doc has a rubiks cube in the office that the boys do all the time. Well, I decided it was time for me to figure it out too. After some instruction and several completions with my cheat sheet...Today...today I did it without. I can officially complete one of these babies without help. It's quite enjoyable. :)

December 1st - The White Stuff

It snowed, it snowed, it snowed!!! I thought Tuesday was fun, but look at what December brought. I didn't realize how much I loved seasons until I was way from it for awhile. Love it. Merry Christmas! Let the snowboarding begin.
Roomie Katie taking on the parking lot, so we can get out.
How much would you say it snowed last night? 12 inches?
Even the power lines look pretty. Love it.
I hope wherever you are, you are able to enjoy this beautiful Christmas season. :)
