Logan friends, Randi and Wendy, wanted to setup Amanda and I on dates. So all eight of us went to Wingers followed by some gender competitive bowling. I'm silly and clumsy to say the least, but overall had a fun night.
I quit the restaurant. I got tired of getting my shifts covered to go play. So I now spend money, not earn it. One of my first adventures since then was a quick road trip to St. George. Five friends ran the St. George Marathon. (It seems impossible...so I think I will do it someday too) It was a really laid back weekend. We watched conference and climbed rocks. I climbed through this narrow despite my heart thumping in protest. Yet another conquest. Next!
If there had to be just one thing that I was excited about being back to Utah for that would be Ute Football. It wasn't until Homecoming that I actually got to attend. In true Utah fashion, it snowed...it snowed alot...but I refused to be deterred. Soaked and frozen to the bone I cheered on the Utes to a victory over Utah State. Yea!
Our ward in effort to create social opportunities has an activity every Friday night. I was called to the committee with Meredith. To begin a new school year we play a game for two weeks called Gotcha also known as Assassins. Each participant has to track down their assigned person and shoot them with a water gun. Single elimination to one final winner. They also have to attend missions along the way. This was an intense game.
I adore Meredith. She is such a bright spot in my life. I feel like this was the perfect calling for me right now. It has helped me jump right in.
